Bimmerfest 2009 will be held on May 2nd at the Santa Barbara Polo Grounds in Carpenteria CA.
For more info, go here. Bimmerfest is the largest BMW event on the west coast, over 2000 BMW's will be in attendance. Old school BMW's have their own parking area so we don't have to be parked in the middle of the E90's.

Please join us at the City of Brisbane Marina on the San Francisco Bay in Brisbane, California. Day of event registration will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. only. The show begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The show is open to the BMW 2002 and all variations in the 2002 series. We also invite owners of BMW models built from 1965 through 1976 including Neue Klasse, E9 (CS), E3 (Bavaria, 3.0S etc.) to participate.

Basic route is to start on Summit road at the store then down into SC via the lighthouse, up Empire grade thru Big Basin and end up in Saratoga at Lupretta's Italian deli. Route is about 70 miles with 2 stops - Lighthouse and Big Basin.

The Pinnacles of Hollister Drive

Place: Hollister Airport
Time: 10 a.m.

July’s gathering has something for everybody.  We will meet at the Hollister Airport JULY 25th at 10:00 am. There is a gas station for topping up located at the intersection of San Felipe and highway 25 for those in need of gas, water or snacks. There is also a restaurant at the airport for those wishing to have a late breakfast, coffee, etc.

With Michael Dubois leading, the first stop will be to watch some skydivers while on the road to the Pinnacles National Monument. There is a $5 per car entrance fee at the park. We will spend about an hour and thirty minutes in the park.  BRING YOU OWN LUNCH. 

Following that we will move on to Pietra Santa Winery or De Rose Winery.

The drive will end in San Juan Bautista unless you want to join in a spirited hillclimbing drive to Freemont Peak (3000 ft). Twist my arm.

The BMW CCA West Coast Summer Concours

The BMW CCA West Coast Summer Concours will kick-off the BMW CCA Festorics weekend held annually during the Monterey Historic Race weekend.

The Central California Chapter BMW CCA, located in the Fresno-Visalia area has announced their intentions to host a regional BMW Concours on Friday, August 14, 2009 in the Monterey-Carmel Valley area. As of this release the event will be held at the Rancho Canada Golf Course located on Carmel Valley road just East of California Hwy 1. This event again will kick-off the annual Festorics weekend co-hosted by the Golden Gate Chapter.

This event will be limited to two hundred cars and will include a parking corral area for those registered but not participating in the judging activity. It is also a perfect location for a picnic lunch and attendees are encouraged to bring their own baskets and libations.

Additional attractions may include wine tasting and several guest speakers and celebrity judges. There will be additional vendors and displays on site.

Tentative Schedule...The event will begin with registration at 7:00 AM. Cars will be placed on the field at 8:00AM and judging will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Box lunches will be available at 12:00 PM and the awards ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. The event will last until 3:00 PM. Cost of the event is $50 per car.

Registration for this event is open via our chapter website where you may register your car and pre order lunches and event tee-shirts.
